Working at the Festival
The Norwich Beer Festival is staffed entirely by willing volunteers, many of whom take a week's holiday to be there. The only paid staff are those involved in managing the halls and providing the food.
Volunteer staff are needed at all public sessions of the beer festival, and also for setting up and taking down, so your help is needed even if you can only manage a few hours.
If you haven't worked at the festival before but would like to, please do one of the following:
1) Download and print the Staffing Form (a 65kb PDF file) and the Staff Guidelines (a 90kb PDF file) and follow the instructions on them.
2) Email the Staffing Officer, Mark Stimpson, to register your interest in working and request more information.
3) Write to Beer Festival Staffing, 8 Pond Road, Horsford, Norfolk NR10 3SW, to register your interest in working and request more information.
Even if you do not contact us beforehand, you are still welcome to work at the festival you will find the Staffing Point (where you need to sign in for each session) just inside the foyer, between the two halls.
You do not have to be a CAMRA member to work at Norwich Beer Festival but you do have to be 18 years of age or over.
This year, we will commence the setting up on Sunday 24th, so help is needed on the Sunday before the festival, plus the Sunday after the festival closes.
