Like to know more about beer or cider? Then come to one of our tutored tastings, hosted by experts!
 
Please note that the tutors for the Tuesday and Wednesday tastings have been swapped around from what was originally advertised due to unforeseen circumstances
 
Tuesday
The Dark Side
– A tour through the darker beer styles, including milds, porters, stouts and new styles such as black IPA, tutored by Matthew Clark, brewer at the multi-award winning Thornbridge Brewery
 
Wednesday
Introduction to Real Ale Styles
– Top quality examples of the major beer styles, from golden ale to barley wine via fruit beers, tutored by Phil Halls, Head Brewer at Grain Brewery, and winner of numerous awards including SIBA Eastern Region Supreme Champion 2011 and Champion Beer of Norfolk 2011
 
Thursday
Apples & Pears
– Featuring a range of ciders and perries from around the UK, with expert guide Mick Lewis (of BEER magazine fame!)
 
Friday
A Taste of Norfolk
– Featuring a range of beers from Norfolk brewers, and tutored by yet another multi-award winning brewer, Stephen George from Humpty Dumpty
 
All tastings will start at 12:30pm and will last around an hour.
 
Prices: £10 per person, to include all samples and free entry to the Festival.
