Tutored Tastings and Talks

There are tasting sessions each day Tuesday to Friday lunchtime and early evening except Saturday when lunchtime only. Sessions to start at 12.00 and 6.00 and last one hour to one-and-a-half hours.
 
Cost £12 CAMRA Members, £15 for Non CAMRA Members. Beer and Cheese matching £17 CAMRA Members, £20 for Non CAMRA Members

Tuesday 22nd Oct
12 midday: Champion Beers
Tutor: Robin Parker Beer Sommelier, St Peterís Brewery, Cicerone Certified Beer Server

A tasting of those beers some new and some which have been brewed for many years which over the years have won awards both locally and nationally with an opportunity to see if they are still worthy winners.
6pm: Gluten Free
Tutor: Robin Parker Beer Sommelier, St Peterís Brewery, Cicerone Certified Beer Server

A tasting of some of the many Gluten free Beers now available from both UK and foreign brewers including cask keg and botted, we will see if they are as good or maybe better than conventional brews.
 
Wednesday 23rd Oct
12 midday: Fruit Beers
Tutor: Robin Parker Beer Sommelier, St Peterís Brewery, Cicerone Certified Beer Server

A tasting of Fruit Beers covering the varied and interesting selection of fruit beers available at the Festival including cask keg and botted, those brewed with fruits and those with fruits added at the maturation stage.
Trappist Beer logo 6pm: Belgian Beers
Tutor: Cheryl Cade, World Beer Bar Manager, Beer Sommelier, Cicerone Certified Beer Server and international beer judge

Belgian beers are world renowned for their, quality, flavour and strength. Come and discover the past, present and future of Belgian beer, with a guided tasting of 5 beers. Discover the stories behind the brews and what is the future for Belgian Beer. From Trappist to fresh foraged brews.
 
Thursday 24th Oct
12 midday: Beer and Cheese matching
Tutors: Cheryl Cade and Robin Parker Beer both Beer Sommeliers, Cicerone Certified Beer Servers and Associate members of the Cheese Academy

We will be covering beer and cheese tasting together with matching and pairing beers and cheeses both UK and International. Our aim is to prepare you to produce your best Christmas cheese board with beers to match. As we will be tasting cheeses at this session the cost will be £17 CAMRA Members £20 for Non CAMRA Members.

Real Cider and Perry logo 12 midday: Cider and Perry tasting
Tutor: Duncan Palmer, Deputy Cider Bar Manager, Norwich Beer Festival, Reading and Chelmsford Beer Festivals, and a judge for the East Anglian Perry Competition

A tutored Cider and Perry tasting session featuring a range of different styles and attributes both interesting and sometimes challenging, with a selection of 8 to10 Ciders and Perries from the Cider bar.
