Our Branch Charity for 2008 is the Assist Trust, a charity based in Norwich which helps people with learning difficulties to gain confidence and work towards greater independence. It supports people who want to explore the job market as well as providing assistance in all aspects of independent living.
 
They will benefit from money raised through various activities, including donations from customers at the 31st Norwich Beer Festival.

Our Branch Charity for 2007 was Nelson's Journey, a charity a charity providing a service to children and young people who have experienced the death of a significant person in their life e.g. mother, father, sibling, etc.
 
They benefited from money raised through various activities, including donations from customers at the 30th Norwich Beer Festival.
